General Advice

Many farms struggle to show a profit, especially when subsidies are taken out of the equation. Sometimes it can be easier for an outside party to look at the opportunities to move the farm forward and plan for the future.

We look at the land, discuss current practices with those involved with the business or hoping to become involved with it. After we understand what the aims are we can see if there are other opportunities that ought to be considered and then report back, with a sit down review of our findings. We often work with accountants or solicitors to make sure the right structure is in place from the start of any changes.

Thereafter we remain involved as much or as little as the parties wish, both in the short and long term. This can either be as advisors or professional trustees.
